Joining Jesus on His Mission
What scares us about being Jesus missionaries? Is it fear of ridicule or rejection? Scorn or hostility? Or is it just a fear of talking to someone about something that we feel we are unequipped to adequately explain? Though the Bible calls us to be sharers of the gospel, the idea is often intimidating, or worse, terrifying. The good news is that we don’t have to be afraid because Jesus shows us how to be everyday missionaries and it is easier than you think. Joining Jesus On His Mission is about building relationships in the places we already spend our time, investing in those we work with, spend time with, and go to school with. Sharing the gospel the Jesus way requires only time spent investing in the lives of people. It is letting Jesus do the work on His mission, all we have to do is accept his invitation to be part. Join us for Lent as we discover how to be everyday missionaries in our current context in a way that doesn’t have to be intimidating or impossible. Come and join Jesus on HIS mission.
