We live in a world governed by the movement of the clock. There is a time to wake up, a time to go to work, a time to eat and a time to sleep. Our days move to the rhythm of God's creation. But we slip into the habit of defining our lives by the same time that we use to manage our days. God though is the timekeeper. He created time and is not bound to its passage. He moves on His own schedule, not by the seasons or years but instead moved by urgency to act when the time is right. This Advent we wait on God's timing. Let's not get lost in the bustle of the season but instead bind ourselves to the schedule of the timekeeper.
