The foundation of faith is usually built within a child during their younger years. Once these children enter into Intermediate and Middle School they are introduced to experiences that will have them questioning their faith and what it means to be a follower of Christ. This is such an important time for them to ask these questions and build their faith and understanding as to who they are as a Christian and a child of God. Elevate is open to 5th - 8th grade students. 

Students are welcome no matter where are they are at in their faith journey. Friends are always welcome to attend ELEVATE as well. This is a safe, non judgmental youth group where all are ALWAYS welcome. Come check us out and see what we're all about!

Our ELEVATE students are currently going through confirmation but once confirmation is complete we will be meeting every 2nd and 4th  Sunday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at the church office for Bible study, worship and fellowship. Once a month we will gather for dinner at 6:00PM before study.

We will make sure to share the first date of ELEVATE.

There will be service opportunities for the students to participate in as well with our IMPACT youth group. 

Adria Charles - Director of Youth and Families

Adria met her adventure buddy and husband, Matthew, 13 years ago and they moved to Ridgefield in 2017. She graduated from WSU with a degree in psychology and began her passion of working with youth who were going through many different walks of life right after graduation. When her oldest daughter was born she set aside her love for social work and became a stay at home mom. Raising two vivacious daughters; Emma who is almost 8 and Spencer who is 4, never stopped her from staying connected within her community through volunteer work over the years. She has continuously given to her community and is now working as the Director of Youth and Family Ministry at Christ Community where God has blessed her with the opportunity to continue her passion of working with youth. When she isn't spending time with family on one adventure or another she is running ultra marathons, carrying out her passion for photography,  reading or tending to her many plants. Adria has a plethora of ideas for her ministry work and is excited to share them with the youth and their families at Christ Community.
