Learning Who We Are When It All Goes Sideways

We all have times when it things like things are going well only to have it all come crashing down. This was true for Jacob, and it is true for us. Jacob came out of the wilderness with joy and promise only to have things go sideways. Though he couldn't see the big picture, he was faithful to his new faith and served even though he didn't know how things would turn out. Who we are is most clearly seen in how we trust God even when things don't go to plan.
