God of the Unexpected

God does the unexpected. It seems natural that He would choose people well suited to His goals. Those chosen to be the building blocks of His works should be those who are committed and above reproach, but God frequently goes the other way- choosing the unlikely and working through the unworthy. This is true for Jacob, and it is true for all of us who find ourselves the wrong people but still chosen to be in His family.
