The story of the shepherds is one of the most well-known stories of Christmas, but this moment is more than simply the announcement of the birth of Christ- it is a declaration of God's love for ALL people.
The shepherds were not only the recipients of the good news, they were also the first to share the hope of God's redemption with those who had yet to hear.
Like the shepherds, we too are the bearers of Good News, with the same mission, to share Christ with a hungry world.
