RUTH

The story of Ruth shows us another timeless truth, God accepts us as we are, not as we should be. He doesn't wait for us to become better people, he welcomes into his kingdom first and then sets about the process of shaping us to be more than we are. Ruth's place as an outsider didn't stand in the way of her being made part of God's plan and we who have been accepted by Jesus get the privilege of sharing the good news of God's welcome with others.
